Defining Abundance

Message from Spirit: Today’s discussion topic is abundance. You know you have abundance when you look around and see beauty all around you—beauty in the faces of those you love, beauty in the food you eat, beauty in the space where you live, beauty in nature all around you. This is true abundance. Seeing a smile coming from the one you love who loves you, that is true abundance. No one is poor who has that in their lives. It is time to create a new definition of abundance. If you have food to eat, a place to sleep, and nature around you, you are most of the way there. You add people who love you on top of that and you are truly blessed.

This is the great redefining process that will take place over the next ten years. Definitions of success in society will change. The mansion and fancy cars do not define success. Kindness and character along with people who truly love you—that is all you need. Material things will lose their attraction over time as each society redefines success and abundance. This is a good turn that society will take.

Those who have been the kind ones hiding in the wings will emerge as leaders of the new society. They will lead with kindness and compassion. They will lead with heart and redefine abundance and be abundant themselves. This redefining process will take a few years but it is an important step in human evolution. Every step towards kindess means moving toward the next evolution of humans on the planet. Bet you didn’t see that coming.

Look at what abundance means to you. Take a moment to be grateful for all you have in your life -- pay particular attention to those items that cannot be bought or sold. You are blessed in every way, every day.
